Charter a Major Vehicle for Implementation of the City Council’s 2-yr Action Plan on Homelessness
These are exciting times for the Cambridge Homelessness Charter a collaborative movement across our region hosted by It Takes A City (ITAC) and endorsed by Cambridge City Council.
Our shared aim is to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring through co-produced, innovative systems change.
After a very successful inaugural Conference on 25th June at Downing College at which a cross section of stakeholders engaged in a strategic conversation about ending homelessness, yesterday evening (7th July) the City Council unanimously adopted a 2year Action Plan, extending their homelessness strategy. The Cambridge Homelessness Charter was recognised as a critical body engaged in the delivery of innovative change needed to implement the action plan.
Watch this space as actions unfold to help people make their journey out of homelessness.
